Techno-Catch was founded in 1999, after 10 years of research and development in conjunction with Cattaruzzi International. During those early years a mechanical chicken harvester was painstakingly designed specifically for the U.S. market. 1999 marked the birth of the Chickat.
Techno-Catch is a company founded on creativity and innovation. The successful combination of continuing improvements, backed by several international and U.S. patents, reliability, and customer support, has resulted in the sale of over 70 Chickats to date in the U.S. This makes the Chickat the top selling mechanical poultry harvester of its kind in the world.
In our ongoing efforts to discover innovative solutions to our customers¹ problems, we have joined with Ciemme of Italy to introduce the TA series of turkey loaders to the U.S. market. The TA series, a fully automated turkey loader has been manufactured by Ciemme since 1974. Currently there are over 300 of the TA series units in service worldwide. After completing research and development to modify the TA series of turkey loaders specifically for the U.S. market needs, Techno-Catch has now added the TA 1000 to Techno-Catch¹s already successful line of products and services.
In 2005 Techno-Catch, LLC saw another need and began research in livestock cooling and the benefits that can be gained. This led to the KOOLCHICK. The mobile unit, using four independent, hydraulically driven fans delivers up to 400,000 cubic feet of air and water mist to cool poultry and other livestock while being held on the transport truck.
Also in 2005 Techno-Catch, LLC began work on an innovative approach toward the humane slaughter of poultry. Even though still in development this system shows strong promise. Its application could revolutionize back dock operations while providing improved meat quality. We call it the V-Stun, a "Regulated (ΔΡ) Hyperbaric Stun Process."
